Hospital in San Juan del Sur
Free to Everyone! Not having a hospital close enough “used” to be one of the main reasons someone wouldn’t invest in San Juan del Sur. That is no longer a concern especially since I’ve heard nothing but rave reviews from everyone, foreigner or Nica, that has used the hospital since it opened this year! And the best part, as a public hospital, it is FREE to everyone! Now if we just had a marina – ohh yah one is coming – and a golf course, there would be no excuses! Plus they just installed a very nice paved road complete with street lights to access the hospital!
Business Idea – Golf Course and/or Driving Range
There are two golf courses within an hour of SJDS, however SJDS would greatly benefit if we had our own golf course or “at least a driving range” and hopefully a chipping green, and/or mini golf. I love to smack the crap out of a bucket of balls, especially at night when it is cooler. A driving range would be a great addition to the available activities here especially if it was a mini version of a “TopGolf” style driving range complete with a restaurant and bar. I know a few pieces of land perfect for any of these businesses, and now is the time to buy with prices low!

Limited Power of Attorney Needed for All Sales! The Public Registry authorities issued an order recently to limit the access to the Registry’s information.
This means that attorneys representing buyers must receive authorization to review the title chain of the seller’s property in order to perform the title search for a sale. This is done through a limited power of attorney (LPOA) that grants authorization to review only the title chain and request certifications from the Registrar like a free of liens certificate.
Lately we have experienced huge delays in the execution of deals because of the need for the LPOAS, especially when sellers are out of country. If you want to sell, please get a LPOA NOW before we bring you a buyer.
