Being in the Center of San Juan del Sur

San Juan del Sur is a sleepy little fishing village in the Rivas Department of South Western Nicaragua. Located 140 kilometres south of Managua, San Juan del Sur is popular among Nicaraguan families and foreign tourists alike. Travellers come to San Juan del Sur from all over the globe, and many now call it their home. During certain times of the year, many cruise ships stop for the day, allowing their passengers the chance to explore Nicaragua. This influx of tourism feeds many of the intrinsic tourist dependent businesses in the area.

Having a business or residence in town means convenience and fun. There is no need to own a car in town and you’ll never miss out on a community event. Even just taking a walk there’s so much to see. The growing town is already packed with shops, restaurants, bars, salons, cafés, and every so often a new business pops up showing there is still room for new businesses. You will always find something to do here.

As San Juan del Sur grows, so has the local infrastructure. A new 40 bed hospital opened to help meet the needs of the local community. This hospital hosts facilities including but not limited to, emergency response, general survey, gynaecology, radiology, and labor and delivery services.

A new substation has also been established to support the electrical demands of the growing city and surrounding areas.
