October Market Update

Health update:  I’m back to normal, well as “normal” as I’ll ever be.  Follow up tests all came out great.  I’m drinking my coconut water daily and will get checked for parasites every six months J


A little annoyed and a little depressed; they delayed flights AGAIN until November!  Several clients had booked tickets for October and I was so very very excited; now all have been cancelled. L  No worries, I’ll be here ready and waiting when you can hopefully get here in November!


Information seems to change daily so check frequently with the airlines to see when they will be resuming regular flights.  Here is some information shared by the US Embassy:   Eastern Airlines has confirmed direct flights between Miami (MIA) and Managua (MGA) on October 10 and 17, 2020. These flights are scheduled to depart Miami en route to Managua at 1:00 p.m. and depart Managua en route to Miami at 4:00 p.m.…/


A tour Group booking Charter flights on Avianca has brought in a few flights successfully with a few of my clients who will restart their lives here!  Below is information to contact them.


BioCollections in Miami’s Little Haiti District has been used by several clients for a rapid PCR COVID-19 (nasal swab).  Show up at 6 am and wait in line in your car, the friendly staff walks up to your car to get your information.  They place an ID card on your dash and as soon as they start testing at 6:45, you drive up to the outdoor tent stations.  The test takes under a minute then you are free to leave.  You will receive your test results online before 5 pm the same day.

Realistically, I’ll be in Borneo till I sell the 14 acre beach property here and even then I’ll be inclined to move somewhere in a 5 or 6 hour plane ride reach of my daughter (and now recently launched granddaughter!) in Perth.

But one never knows – they’re just as likely to up & move to Latin America!
