I finally visited friends and family after not going to the states in over 5 years! – I know I was overdue 😞 I really did enjoy the 8 days I spent in North Carolina and Pennsylvania the last week of July but it was definitely culture shock! I only went shopping one day and I was completely overwhelmed by all the choices! Surviving Power Outages
The power has been good lately, knock on wood, however one trick to get through a long one is to keep containers or bottles of frozen water in your freezer that you can put into your refrigerator when the power is off for a while.
